Need to change the direction/path of your NFC device? Follow this tutorial to update the NFC chip to point to a different site.

Step-by-Step Guide #

1. Download an NFC Writing Tool: Install any free NFC writing tool from your App Store or Play Store. We recommend NFC Tools as a reliable option.
2. Open the App: Launch the NFC writing tool on your device.
3. Add a Record:
   • Select “Add a Record.”
   • Choose “Custom URL / URI.”
4. Enter Your Desired Link:
   • Paste the URL you want the NFC chip to direct to.
5. Write the New URL:
   • Click “Write” (usually found at the top left corner).
   • Confirm by clicking “Write/XX Bytes.”
6. Program the NFC Device:
   • Approach your NFC device to your phone. The app should automatically write the new URL onto the NFC chip.

Important Note #

This tutorial covers rewriting the NFC devices only, not the QR codes. QR codes are hardcoded with the actual link. Therefore, QR codes cannot be changed unless they point to a third-party app that allows redirection to a different link.
